There are plenty of definitions to define what a gamer is. I’ve heard quite a few, and have agreed with the majority of them. Just like with most factors in life gamers are available in distinct levels and stages, habits and tendencies. That is a philosophical question in my opinion, no correct or incorrect answer, typically each answer I hear has some logic to it. Some think that even in their spare time play, that they are gamers, I concur.
You’ve owned some type of video game console considering the fact that the beginning on the Atari days. Your a lock for becoming a gamer. The people that would be the first ones when the retailers opens to get the latest game to come out, and even superior, camp out overnight to get what they want. Gamer! Beating a game greater than after, getting issues you missed the previous time about, makes you a gamer. Some people play sports games, some just play Madden, they also are gamers.
I’ve heard those that play the Xbox 360 and PS3 refer to the Wii as a toy and whoever plays it as their key console, will not be a gamer. I’d need to disagree that. I personally believe that the PS3 is improved than the Wii general. I also think that Nintendo discovered a winner using the Wii, ran with it, and still have yet to slow down. I just think Nintendo has been smarter as a corporation for the final couple of years. I’ve also heard Computer gamers refer to all gaming consoles as toys, every person has opinion proper?
Final but not least we’ve the “No Lifers”. They live to play video games, every day of each year. They may be the gladiators of video games, the hardcore, they fairly a great deal consist of every single definition of a gamer combined into a single, crazy.
In my opinion what defines a gamer depends on who you ask. Some are extra hardcore, others are casual, some play for perfection, some play a certain niche of game, other people bleed video games. You can find countless other definitions and I fairly significantly agree with them all. When you play enough video games to consider yourself a gamer no matter what your talent level, or time invested, or anything else, who am I to say any unique, you’re a gamer.
